Greyhope Bay is a sustainable and innovative project based in the heart of Aberdeen, which aims to develop a marine experience center beside the Torry Battery, a site with a unique heritage. To connect local communities with the fascinating marine wildlife & natural environment; a viewing platform, café and outdoor exhibition space will be constructed from recycled shipping containers.

JCE Energy have pledged their support for the community project by designing & manufacturing a bespoke hybrid power solution, providing the historic site with a clean source of renewable power which further protects the local environment.

Jim Craig, Chairman of JCE Energy has been speaking to Fiona McIntyre (MD, Greyhope Bay) about the challenges of delivering power to off-grid locations and the important use of green energy solutions rather than a fossil fuelled approach.
