The JCE Intrinsically Safe (IS) range offers high-performance smoke and heat detection solutions engineered for use in hazardous environments where flammable gases, vapours, or dust may be present. The series includes optical smoke detectors, multisensory smoke detectors, and a full suite of heat detectors (including both fixed temperature and rate-of-rise models), all built to comply with international standards such as EN54, ATEX, and IECEx. Each device is housed in a durable, dust-resistant enclosure and is equipped with intelligent algorithms that enhance sensitivity while minimising false alarms.
