Anaerobic Digestion Process

Anaerobic digestion is the process in which organic substances such as plant material, food or animal waste are broken down by microorganisms to either produce clean energy or create a waste management system.

The biomass is subsequently converted to biogas (methane) after a natural four stage chemical process, with the output energy available for use as a source of heating (CHP), vehicle fuel, gas or electricity for the grid.

Anaerobic Digestion renewable technology enables businesses to successfully reduce waste, efficiently generate renewable energy while lowering their carbon footprint/emissions.
